What Makes for a Safe Chimney Cap?
All Chimney Caps we install in Bloomington and Normal cities as well as chimney covers are critical to keeping out nesting animals from entering your home. We only install the best quality materials like galvanized steel and copper and include a lifetime warranty to ease worried minds. Other things that a properly installed chimney cap helps with is preventing combustible materials from reaching your roof and winter winds from blowing back into the fireplace.

The most important parts of a safe chimney cap includes:
1. A spark arrestor - a screen and lid that prevents embers and sparks from potentially igniting on your roof
2. A mortar bed - an angled base that diverts water away from the chimney
3. A flue cap - a protective top that allows for airflow while keeping out debris and weather
